I would certainly take courses online. With a family at home and being new to the teaching profession I need to get my 90 Hours. While being in a classroom type setting is beneficial to take a course it also takes away time at home with my family. I like the idea that I can sit at home and work on a course. This way I can work at my own pace and I am not forced to sit in a roomful of people at a designated time.
There are always advantages and disadvantages to working online. You could say that the lack of face to face interaction could be a disadvantage, but you could also say think of the opportunity to meet other people around the state taking the same class. I think this 23 Things course has proven that even though we are not in a classroom setting we are able to collaborate or share ideas in other ways besides in person.
Looking through the courses a few PD courses I would like to see would be Digital Storytelling and Photostory. They do offer a lot of courses and at this time I didn’t register for anything but will certainly be keeping an eye on what is available for future courses.
This is not the first time I have taken an online course. It takes self discipline to do something like this because you are not in a classroom constantly being reminded of when projects are due. I enjoy and will continue to take online courses in the future. This class has shown that you don’t need to be in a classroom to adequately interact with other people.

We are still diploma oriented, but we can learn so much in an online format, and never have to drive to a college campus (and try to find a place to park). No driving in the winter, no set day and time for class, we can work at 3 AM if we can't sleep, or at 9 PM after the kids are in bed. There's the F2F trade-off, but we still have the ability to see each other with a webcam (Skype will be in 23 more things) and to work together on a wiki or a Google Doc.
